Bigelow Tea Company Rebrand

ArtCenter College of Design

Bigelow Tea Company is a family-owned American tea company founded in 1945 by Ruth Campbell Bigelow. It is known for its specialty and flavored teas, including its flagship Constant Comment blend. The company offers a wide variety of black, green, herbal, and organic teas, emphasizing high-quality ingredients and sustainability. It remains a leader in the U.S. tea market, with products available in grocery stores, online, and food service establishments.

About the Brand

As a tea lover, I chose Bigelow as my rebranding subject. I had challenged myself in this project to create an updated brand presence focusing on the warmth and comfort of drinking tea. The process of this project taught me to focus on the details of rebranding and keeping a solid unified brand structure. With guidance, I got to explore a style of design previously unfamiliar to me, which boosted my creative mindset in design.

About the Rebrand

The tagline captures the process of making a good cup of tea. From steeping to sipping, there’s always warmth along the way! Personally, it’s one of the reasons I love tea.

The Message

I designed the logo from the signature cup/smile shape into a B shape. I want to capture the brand’s warm and inviting vibes, similar to a fresh cup of tea.

The Logo

I created a color scheme that represents the shades of yellows and greens of a cup of tea.
